About the Institute
The Institute for Evidence Based Cryonics is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of human cryopreservation to society.
Activities
Founded in 2007, the institute works towards broad acceptance of cryonics as a form of critical care medicine. To achieve this objective the institute disseminates information about the science and practice of human cryopreservation and stimulates research to improve existing cryonics procedures.
Other objectives of the institute include the organization of conferences and seminars, speaking engagements and publishing.
The institute also hosts the Depressed Metabolism blog which has been disseminating information and perspectives on cryonics and life extension since 2007.
