About the Institute

The Institute for Evidence Based Cryonics is an organization dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of human cryopreservation to society.

Founded in 2007, the Institute works towards broad acceptance of cryonics as a form of critical care medicine. To achieve this objective the institute disseminates information about the science and practice of human cryopreservation and stimulates research to improve existing cryonics procedures.

Other objectives of the institute include the organization of conferences and seminars, speaking engagements and publishing.

The institute also hosts a blog (formerly called Depressed Metabolism) which has been disseminating information and perspectives on cryonics and life extension since 2007.

Share our commitment to the science of human cryopreservation and support the institute.
